**Pender, originally one island, was split in two by the creation of a dredged canal in the early 20th century. The islands are now referred to as: North Pender Island, South Pender Island, Pender Island and Pender Islands. Pick one which works for you!

Join us on Pender Island from July 14 to August 12, 2012 for a festival of the arts on Pender Islands. With the highest per-capital population of artists in Canada, Pender Island is all about the arts. And this summer the Island of Art Festival brings you art shows on fences, in orchards, in wineries, in galleries, and in over 30 artists homes.
